THE HISTORY OF
Remarkable Me was an art based self-esteem building programme for children aged 8-12 years old & was run for over 5 years across schools in East Sussex.
Throughout those 5 years we helped hundreds of children learn how to overcome hurdles, build resilience & raise their self-esteem.
From running these self-esteem building sessions we had many parents speak to us directly about the fear & concerns their child had about moving up to secondary school & how they wished there was a programme that would support children with the transition to Secondary school.
You asked & we listened....
remarkable me is A 7 week programme for children to support them with the move up to secondary school
What Parents Say
“We would definitely like Felix to continue remarkable me once it starts up again.
I think because of his age he needs a bit more time to understand what hopes & dreams means & also to understand his own emotions. Certainly we have seen changes in Felix even in this short space of time. The home activities have helped to increase his creativity but most of all his confidence in his abilities. He comes back from every session happy and full of beans.”
What Schools Say
"Well done on another successful program of Remarkable Me.
I would like to say how exciting all your activities looked. It was always a pleasure to see so much going on for the children in your group. The children from our school were always keen to tell us about the things they had been doing during their time in the group, and looked forward to attending each week. We feel it has real benefits."
