Support For Children's Emotional Wellbeing
Remarkable Me is a small independent business run by a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting emotional growth, wellbeing and positive mental health.
Director of Remarkable Me and Author of the Wellbeing Growth Journal
I'm Rachel Streeter, the Director of Remarkable Me and Author of the Wellbeing growth Journal for children.
My therapeutic career began in London as a Mental Health Worker, then I went on to achieve two Diplomas qualifying as a Therapeutic Counsellor in 2007 and a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2008 before setting up my private practice.
Since then I have created two therapeutic companies and developed multiple wellbeing projects and services in the community for children, families, schools and colleges.
I have since written and published the first Wellbeing Growth Journal so children can expand their creativity, develop confidence and resilience and access essential wellbeing tools each day.
I am now excited to be working on the second Journal for young people and growing a new skilled and creative team so we can help support as many children and young people across the globe as possible.
Designer & Digital Illustrator
Hiya, I'm the Illustrator and digital designer on the team. Since I was young I knew I wanted to pursue a career in art. I started drawing for fun as a child but when I hit college I knew it was something I wanted to take seriously and build as a profession.
I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2020 at 23 years old with a BA Hons in Illustration. My main skills are in character design and portrait illustrations, both using traditional and digital media.
I'm a huge advocate for mental health, especially for young teens, as I understand the difficulties with accepting our bodies and developing minds; so being part of this team and working on these journals is a project I'm extremely passionate about.
Social Media Executive
Hi I'm Gabrielle and I'm a social media fanatic and mum to a sausage dog called Binky.
I have always had a huge interest in mental health and well-being and have channelled this through my love of dance. At the age of 21 I graduated from Chichester University achieving a BA Hons in Dance, with a great interest in the Dance Movement Psychotherapy module.
This module focused on the relational process in which a client and therapist engage in an empathetic creative process using body movement and dance to assist the integration of emotional, cognitive, physical, social and spiritual aspects of self.
Since graduating university I have developed a keen interest both personally and professionally in how the power of social media can influence followers. This has led to my exciting journey ahead with Remarkable Me as their Social Media Executive.
I cannot wait to share all things positive and new across all our social media platforms, especially with our upcoming Teen Journal.
